The producer behind the classic 'Essit Muzique' and the infamous 'Shiver' label (1993) Dap and Boom Room, who released gemms like Essit Musique, Vacuumniser, Yore Signal Box and Subsonic Soundscape. Erik van den Broek has, since 1991, produced various records (acid, techno, drum ‘n’bass, electrofunk and electroboogie) under various aliases such as: Acid Kid, Essit Muzique, Klik Klak, Scattah, Shiver, Soul Motion, X-es and Dr. Break. After 8 years the famous Dr. Break is due back on the scene with the debut release on his new label Dr. Break records, a 5 track EP with retro vibes and futuristic soundscapes. To be released in January 2005.
