Fair Play Committee consists of one guitarist/bassplayer, one drummer, one MC and one Dj. In this live- formation they combine several styles like rock, fusion, hiphop, noise and electronics, being compared with Tool, Urban Dance Squad and Cannibal Ox. On taking part in B-stage and composing a ringtone for our Ringtone Society, they had the following to say: "The importance of a mobile phone has evolved in an absurd way over the last few years. A phone is no longer a phone, but a way of life. Back in the old days a ringtone simply existed for its functionality. There was nearly no variety, everyone had a similar tone. Nowadays a ringtone has become a part of your identity and there is no possibility to escape it. It has become fashion. And when something becomes fashion it gets out of hand. It becomes part of the mainsteam, whereas we all know; it's gonna cost ya! Cheesy Top 40 ringtones, downloadable at stupid prices are ruling the streets and polluting our ears.
