The Society proudly presents its youngest Ringtone composer: Peter Vigh. As a saxophone player and composer Peter Vigh (1987) attends the preparatory education of the Fontys Conservatory in Tilburg. He has his lessons from Willem Jeths (composition) and Jean Pennings (saxophone). In 2002, Peter competed in the composition contest for young composers of the Netherlands Wind Ensemble (NBE). During the New Year's concert 2003 in the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, that was broadcast by the VARA they played his composition 'I'm Free' in which Peter himself played the solo part. In the two years that he's established himself as a composer, several pieces have been performed by ensemble 'De Ereprijs', 'Ensemble Multifoon', the 'Orion Ensemble' and the 'Spectrum Ensemble'. In 2003 Peter won the composition contest of the Princes Christina Concours with his composition 'Le Train'. Still a high school senior, Peter Vigh is definitively one to watch! We at the Ringtone Society foresee a bright future!
